XVII Age of Winged Cavaliers
Age XVII - A single player, hex based historical strategy game.
An idea to make this game was lecture of Henryk Sienkiewicz novels and very interesting history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and turbulences in a XVII century. A lot of wars and historicaly important moments like Muscovy collapse in 1612 (Smuta), Khmielnitsky Uprising in 1648, and the II northern war in 1655 - 1660 betwen Sweden and CommonWealth happend then. The idea of the game is go trough every campaign (Polish, Ukranian, Swedish) with series of hex, turn based battles to be played vs AI opponet and manage your army.
The game is creating in Unity 2020.3 C#.
Concept art is under common licence from the great artist like Józef Brandt and other.
The work is in progress. Let me know If you have some ideas or assets to share.
Early stage Beta (0.3Beta) with playable tutorial scenario:
- Added three new Scenarios (Pilawce, Konsantynow and Zbaraz)
- Added hex terrain tiles and logic (movement, attack bonus)
- Small AI changes
- Small UI changes
